Arcana Prasino

The Arcana Prasino are a fortune-telling tool which use the images of the Prasinian pantheon as well as their associated symbols to communicate ideas to be interpreted by the reader.

Each card represents two entities who are considered in opposition, or an entity and their season in the case of the six seasonal gods. The orientation of the card when drawn determines whether to read it as one or the other.

Seasonal Gods

Each of these cards depicts a god along with the season over which they preside.

Bahamut / The Sun

Bahamut / The Sun depicts Bahamut's full form silhouetted in the flames from the sun which appears at the bottom of the card. Inverse, the sun appears at the top and Bahamut appears to be falling through the flames.

Tiamat / The Void

Tiamat / The Void depicts a starfield blotted out by the shadow of Tiamat's five heads. The shadow receeds into a purple miasma representing the void, at the bottom. Inverse, Tiamat's shadow appears to drip from the purple miasma.

The Raven Queen / Winter

The Raven Queen / Winter depicts the Raven Queen as a half-elf woman in chainmail and furs, with her back to the viewer, displaying a serpentine dagger in one hand and a red skull in the other. The bottom half of the card is dominated by a snowfield dotted with black feathers.

Melora / Spring

Melora / Spring depicts Melora as an elven woman dressed in shimmering triton clothes. She is sitting in a field of wildflowers, facing the viewer with her back to the sea. The sea is calm and two ships are depicted.

Pelor / Summer

Pelor / Summer depicts Pelor as a human man in heavy robes, standing on a tilled field in front of a blazing sun, his head framed by the sun's flames. His face is in shadow.

Sehanine / Autumn

Sehanine / Autumn depicts Sehanine as a drow woman in a white dress standing with her back to the viewer in a field of sunflowers at night. The moons appear to the left and right of her head.

Ring of Dragon

Each of these cards depicts a metallic dragon along with their chromatic rival.

Kugutha / Precious

Kugutha / Precious depicts the starmetal dragon in profile, gazing at his reflection in a body of water. In the water, Precious mirrors his pose. A white moon appears in the sky behind Kugutha, and a blue moon appears behind Precious.

The positions of the moons on this card mirror Kereska / Darling.

Hlal / Null

Hlal / Null is split diagonally. The top left half depicts the copper dragon queen, and the bottom right depicts the black dragon king mirroring her pose. Between them lies a flaming skull, which faces Null. White flames cover the back of the skull which faces Hlal. The dragons are seen from above, encircling and facing the center object.

This card mirrors Red/Gold.

Red / Gold

Red / Gold is split diagonally. The top right half depicts Garyx the Gold and the bottom left depicts Garyx the Red. Between them lies a pyre, covered in orange flame.

The dragons are seen from above, encircling and facing the center object.

This card mirrors Hlal / Null.

Kereska / Darling

Kereska / Darling depicts the silver dragon and the white dragon encircling Prasinos, with a white moon behind Kereska and a blue moon behind Darling. The side of the planet that Kereska occupies is illuminated while the side of the planet Darling occupies is frozen and in shadow.
