Ranger from Another Time

Originally quartermaster aboard the Sea Star in the early isolation era, now working aboard the Barnacle.

Grish has difficulty conceptualising the world at large. If you asked him how to get to Allento he would sincerely believe that arriving at Allento is just something that happens once every few years if you sail long enough.

He is illiterate but records a journal of sorts by carving figurines of people he meets, which remind him what that person is like. His cabin aboard the Sea Star had hundreds of these figurines, most of which are now destroyed, but the eight he kept with him were preserved.

He loves to listen and observe, and hopes that by joining the Barnacle crew he will hear many stories and meet many people.
