Arcanical instruments produce almost no sound, and on first inspection may seem useless or broken. But when supplied with an ASV current, they produce a loud, metallic sound. The sound they produce can be further manipulated and shaped in a variety of ways, causing them to sound radically different than their acoustic counterparts.
They are all the rage with kids these days.
