=====Trade and Economy===== Trade here is organized by type of product to serve as a reference about what is available where. In general, trade is done by sailing ship and with little to no assistance from magic or experimental technology. Overland trade is done by caravan. To estimate the time it would take to ship something, use the travel speed chart but halve the speed (doubling the time). Heavily laden container ships and caravans do not travel as fast as transportation. When in doubt about the price of a good, consider the listed price an indication of what it would cost where it is easiest to acquire. Goods that are produced in large quantities and which travel well like paper may be double their list price in far away locations. Goods that are rare or which don't travel well (making them rare outside of a certain radius) may cost ten times the list price or more. A handy approximation for prices in Prasinos is that 1gp is worth $50. Adventurers often become relatively rich and will pay for a meal with a gold piece rather than making change; your NPCs might know that and provide superlative service when four impossibly jacked lunatics with $120,000 weapons on their backs take stools at the bar. Equally, adventurers who display their high quality clothing and tools openly may be seen as whales. A hard on his luck stable owner might take a chance to triple the asking cost of a horse hoping that such a person won't notice or care. ====Paper==== {{page>people:trade:paper}} ====Fruit==== {{page>people:trade:Fruit}} ====Drugs==== {{page>people:trade:drugs}}
