==Personality==
Heron spent his life attempting to acquire power for his demonic master and eventually execute the demon's plan to kill all of the prasinian local gods with an army of undead led by an invincible warlock. Heron's confrontation with Corvenious was his first confrontation with a local god, and resulted in his death as well as Corvenious's, and indirectly led to the death of all others present.

When he died, Sunstar's body had been "hollowed out" spiritually by a lifetime of service to a demon. This allowed it to become a vessel for a being from [[cosmology:planes:the_abyss|The Abyss]], which came to be known as the Outsider. The Outsider's gaze fell upon all of those present, and turned them into fissures through which the Outsider could enter Prasinos.

==In Combat==
Heron was a pact of the blade warlock, with the ability to cast Armor of Agathys as though at 9th level. He had a vampiric pact blade and would easily frontline in most conflicts, with no fewer than five CR2 undead to back him up.

The vampiric pact blade kept him rich in temporary hitpoints and he rarely in his life suffered a wound to his actual body.

In his final battle he decapitated Corvenious but celebrated too quickly as her head yet lived. She crushed the life out of him in one powerful bite and was finished by his Armor of Agathys.
