Anna Rince is a doppelganger who copied the form of a girl who was lost in the woods in 88NE. She has been living with the Rince family ever since.

Doppelgangers normally have problems aging realistically. Anna's current form is an attempt to mimic the original Anna's mother, as she appeared in 88NE. 

Her uncle, Headmaster Varchilde, the lords of goon's folly and the crew of the bareknuckle barnacle know her secret.
