Neukvro Ak is the captain of the Dwarven Pantheon and their strongest warrior. She is the mother to most other Dwarven Gods.
Neukvro Ak is depicted as a stout, muscular Dwarf. She wears obsidian warrior's armor with sharp, dangerous-looking reliefs and emblazened with rivers of molten stone. Neukvro Ak weilds a hammer of Platinum Fire. She has long, flowing hair and a long, straight beard of pitch black smoke.
Neukvro Ak's closest ally is Neukvro Evr.
Neukvro Ak has many divine children, including Sjorn and Gommir Kol.
Neukvro Ak was instrumental in clearing the way for the dwarves, and securing the safety of the mountains.
The teachings of Neukvro Ak are simple and Blunt: Train to fight, Train to Protect. Always be prepared to defeat your enemies. Die on the battlefield with an axe in hands.
Followers of Neukvro Ak range from influential generals to rank and file infantry and guards. Those who wiled arms to defend the Dwarven cause are drawn to her and her teachings, because in their direct simplicity they are woven through the fabric of military culture.
Temples of Neukvro Ak are divided into two small districts. The first, and what the rest of the temple is structured around, are the training grounds where they hone their martial prowess. The second district is made up of residential areas and taverns, so that her followers may rest after training.
Temples to Neukvro Ak are often constructed in strategically significant areas of a fortress, in case the need to defend the fortress arises suddenly.
Prayer to Neukvro Ak is built into a training regiment, which occupies many of her devout follower's daily routines. The teachings double as combat techniques, or mantras warriors can recite while going through the various motions.
Followers to Neukvro Ak take 2 days of rest every week to drink, sleep, and relax. A temple will divide it's residents and followers into groups, in order to stagger these days of rest and ensure that there are always warriors at the ready.
On the tenth of the new year, young conscripts into the military are given a coming-of-age celebration where they visit the Fortress' forge district and receive their military equipment. This is followed by a small feast and a night of heavy drinking.
Neukvro Ak has given birth to most of the Dwarven gods. Part of their creation myth is that she gave birth to every god after a magnificent victory on the cosmic battlefield; The weapon she used in each battle would be saved as a gift for the child during their own Day of Forges in the Holy Dwarven Halls.
