First, start with 50pts in each stat. (50pts in Bones is 1.5 Bones, see [SBN]). Depending on the power level of your game, the GuyMaster will tell you how many points you have to work with. You can add points to your pool by reducing your starting stats, and spend points to increase them. In a normal game, you will start with 100 points, which you could use to increase any two stats to 100 (by spending 50 in each) or you could spend on Skills. Skills are special abilities that will be determined by your setting, so consult your Official Setting Guide for the Skills available to you! (You can order setting guides online! If you plan on playing your Guy a certain way, it might be smart to take -10 on a couple of stats that won't be important in order to get +20 in the main stat that you'll be using. You don't have to be good at everything! 2. Compliment your group! In addition to the tip above, you can go really low in certain stats if you've got a good Guy covering your back! Two Guys with max storage might seem strong, but one Guy with storage and one guy with plopability can open some new gameplay avenues! 3. Get in the GuyMaster's Head! Guys is a competitive game and if your GuyMaster always throws the same kind of thing at you, it's completely fair to build around his psychological profile!
