Slender, graceful, fey-touched and highly varied. Elves are uniquely able to adapt to any environment and reluctant to venture from it once they have settled in.

=====Game Info=====
Elves on Prasinos come in three main varieties; wood elves, dark elves, and city elves. Sea elves are a rare fourth variety.
This section applies to all elves, with more on sub-types following.
===Age===
An elf is physically mature by age 20, but elves under 100 are not considered truly adults. Elves can reach 700 or more years old.
===Size===
Elves are medium.
Adult wood elves and dark elves range from 5'0" to about 5'6". Adult sea and city elves range from 4'6" to 5'0". An adult elf generally weighs 100-200lbs.
===Speed===
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
===Ability Score===
Your Dexterity score increases by 2.

===Darkvision===
Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
===Keen Senses===
You have proficiency in the Perception skill.
===Fey Ancestry===
You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
===Trance===
Elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. While meditating, you typically experience lucid dreams or none at all. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
=====Sub-Types=====
Elves more than most posses a supernatural attunement with their environment. The common image of a wood elf being especially in touch with the forest and the natural world holds true, but is also true of other elves attunement with their own environments.
====Wood Elf====
Reclusive and gentle, the wood elf prefers to live their life among the trees and in unspoilt nature. They make their homes of natural materials and endeavor to live in harmony with nature - allowing birds and squirrels to make nests in the walls of their homes and so on.
Their skin and hair take on rich copper tones.
===Ability Score===
Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
===Weapon Training===
You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.
===Fleet of Foot===
Your base walking speed increases to 35 feet outdoors and off of roads.
===Mask of the Wild===
You can attempt to hide even when you are only lightly obscured by foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, and other natural phenomena.
====Dark Elf====
Also known as "deep elves".
Dark elves have adapted to life in the deepest jungles and caves. They have difficulty managing bright sunlight but are excellent at navigating in darkness.
Dark elves most often have yellow eyes, white or light grey hair, and black or dark grey skin.
===Ability Score Increase===
Your Charisma score increases by 1.
===Superior Darkvision===
Your darkvision has a range of 120 feet, instead of 60.
===Sunlight Sensitivity===
You have disadvantage on attack rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of the attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.
===Dark Magic===
You know the Dancing Lights cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Faerie Fire spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Darkness spell once and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
===Dark Weapon Training===
You have proficiency with rapiers, shortswords, and hand crossbows.
====City Elf====
Also known as "brownies", "cookie elves" (a derogatory term when used by other elves, mostly neutral when used by non-elves) or "cobblers".
City elves have adapted to modern life, and thrive among the bustle of a marketplace. They are attuned to the movement of crowds, commerce, craft and trade.
City elves usually have light skin with a rosy complexion, and their hair is usually light blonde or slightly pink (but rarely grey or white).
===Ability Score Increase===
Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
===A Stable Pace===
Your base walking speed increases to 35 feet indoors and on roads.
===Bonus Languages===
Choose two additional languages from among those spoken in your region.
===Craftsperson===
If your class or background grants you proficiency with a trade tool, you may upgrade to expertise. Otherwise, you may gain proficiency with one trade tool.
===The Pulse of the City===
When attempting to discern information about a city (such as where is the nearest blacksmith, which is the more trustworthy of two merchants, or who is in charge), the city elf always rolls with advantage.
The city elf also has advantage to gather general information on any topic while they have access to a busy marketplace or other gathering of urban folk.
====Sea Elf====
The rare product of mixed triton and elven heritage. Although they are elves for all intents and purposes, sea elves are more broadly accepted among triton society than elven.
They tend to be elven in appearance, but with a blueish tint to their complexion. They nearly always have dark hair with subtle blue or purple tint.

Your Constitution score increases by 1.

You have a 30ft swim speed.
===Bonus Languages===
You know Primordial and one additional language from among those spoken in your region.
===Guardians of the Depths===
Adapted to even the most extreme ocean depths, you have resistance to cold damage.
