Demi-human appearances range widely from minor demi-humanism (2), who could pass for human without much trouble, to major demi-humanism (4), who could equally easily pass as an animal.
Common demi-humanism tends to manifest in full body skin differentiation (fur, scales, or coloration) as well as noticeable differences in bone structure.
Reports of a drastically different morphology (6) remain unconfirmed.
Demi-humans are not well understood on Prasinos and most may view them the same way they view yuan-ti or half-orcs. The humans of New Home make little distinction between demi-humans and other non-human 'creechers'.
In North Wilds, Old Home and around the Grand Scar, demi-humans are mostly seen as blessings. To parent a child with animal features is seen as a boon from an animal spirit.

=====Demi-human Culture=====
Demi-humans come from anywhere humans are and have no cohesive culture of their own, rather they generally become parts of the societies that they are born into.
One exception to this is in New Home where demi-human children are cast out. These people are often raised at in isolation at Mountainhead and indoctrinated by the [[id=phb:orgs:brokenhearts|House of the Broken Heart]]
=====Religion in Demi-human Society=====
With the exception of those raised into the House of the Broken Heart, demi-humans inherit traditions from the culture around them.
Those raised by the House are brought up to believe that their appearance is is due to a relationship between their birth parents and The First Doppelganger, and that their being cast out is divine punishment for the Doppelganger's sins. The House hopes to protect them from further injustice by raising them in isolation at Mountainhead.
=====Notable Demi-Humans=====
